homemade pasta for a rainy day!

This was a trial color run for homemade pasta for Easter...I wish I had done this for Sky's tie dye birthday last spring! It is much yummier than it looks, at least to adults. We divided our dough into 4 parts, left one plain, and used a tiny amount of gel colors for the rose, one yellow, and one blue...sandwiched them together, and let the pasta roller do the rest of the blending! More pics and info are on my flickr site.

new work...

The new work coming out from my kiln has been light mainly in part to creative experiments that did not come out as I would have liked...trying many new glazes and techniques can be a long and often disappointing process, but if you get that one piece that you love, it is all worth it...These are some that passed, and will be up for sale shortly.
